Owner Lloyd Glidden brings a personal, hands-on approach to every project. From the first conversation through the final walkthrough and cleanup, Lloyd works directly with homeowners to understand what they want to accomplish, what matters most to them, and what makes sense for their budget. He helps guide each decision—from layout and design to materials and construction—so clients can feel confident in the plan before the work begins.

Building has been part of Lloyd’s life for as long as he can remember. He grew up working alongside his father, a bricklayer, where he learned early on the value of hard work, doing things the right way, and taking pride in a job well done. For more than 20 years, he has carried those lessons into Glidden Construction, building a business based on quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and treating every home with the same care he would want for his own.

Today, Lloyd is also a husband and father of three young children, and family is a big part of why he takes such pride in the business he has built. His kids are already starting to take an interest in Dad’s work—and every now and then, they even lend a little “help” on the job.

Over the past two decades, Glidden Construction has completed more than 500 projects throughout Philadelphia and South Jersey, from single-room renovations to complete home transformations. Whether the project is large or small, Lloyd approaches it the same way: show up, communicate clearly, do quality work, and take care of the homeowner from beginning to end.
